Events created using the Syndicated Event page are retrieved and viewed using the Syndicated Calendar page type. This is created using the regular page editor and not through the Syndication Manager. See Creating syndicated calendar pages.
From the System menu, open the Syndication Manager.
At the top of the page, in the Syndication Type field, select Pages. Note that you will only be able to access the Pages option if you belong to a group that has been given access to the Pages Syndication Manager. See Group Manager - Edit Group - Tools tab:
Speak to your system administrator if you are unable to access this feature.
If there is a particular HTML editor you wish to use when creating the articles, you may want to select the site from which to use the editor settings. This is done in the Use Editor Settings From field at the top of the page.
At the top of the list of pages you will see an entry similar to this:

Click the (Edit) link to open the Syndicated Pages editor.
In the center portion of the page, move your mouse over the New button and select Syndicated Event from the page list. This creates a new calendar event page.
Complete the Page Summary settings.
Enter the optional Teaser text.
Complete the Event Properties for the event you are creating.
Assign Even Categories as required.
If you will be creating RSVP forms for events, complete the Event RSVP section.
Add all information you wish to publish about the event in the Event Details editor window.
If the event will happen repeatedly, complete the Event Recurrence section.
Click Save and submit for publication.
