Event Start: Use the calendar button to select the date and time that the event begins. The event start date and time default to the date and time the event page was first created.
All day event: Select this option if the event has a date on which it occurs but no start or end time. Checking this option disables the start time and the end date and time. Only the start date will remain active.
No End Time: Select this option if the event starts at a particular time but has no specific end date or end time. Checking this field will disable the Event End field completely but the Even Start fields will remain active.
Event End: Use the calendar button to select the date and time that the event ends. The event end date and time default to the date and time the event page was first created.
Manual Entry: This checkbox is located to the right of the Location field. It is checked by default. When this box is checked you must type in the location, address, and city fields. If you uncheck this checkbox, the Location field becomes a drop-down from which you can choose one of your previously-entered locations. The list of locations in the drop-down is maintained in the Syndication Manager > Pages > Manage Syndicated Page Settings > Syndicated Event.
Location: Enter the name of the building or center where the event will be taking place or uncheck the Manual Entry checkbox and select an already-entered location.
Address: Enter the street address complete with suite number if relevant.
City, State/Province: Enter the city and state or province where the event is taking place.
Featured Event: Check this option if you wish to showcase this event as a featured event. When you create the syndicated calendar page, you can decide how you want feature events displayed on the published calendar. Once published, these special events are highlighted for calendar viewers.
Until Event Date: Select this option to feature the event up until the date on which the event occurs.
Until Selected Date: Select a date and time up to which you wish to feature the event. This might be the day before the event, a week before or some other date.
Note that you cannot change the Featured Event setting for events originating in another ACM installation. You can only control this setting for events created within your own installation of the ACM.
Background Color: You can specify a color for the background display for this event. When displayed on the published calendar, the background will be the color you select here. This is useful if you use color coding for event types (i.e. red for sports, green for environmental events, etc.) The default color is #FFFFFF (white).You can enter the hexadecimal code for the desired color.
Private Event: If you flag this event as "private", you can then select users or groups who will be allowed to see this event. When one of the authorized viewers is logged in and viewing the calendar, the event will be displayed. For other visitors to your calendar, the event will not be displayed.
Event Image/Logo: You can select an image to display with the event information. When the event details are viewed, the image is displayed as well.
