Event recurrence
Use this section for events that occur repeatedly at regular intervals.
Pattern: Select the type of recurring event (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly). Once you have selected the basic pattern, use the fields and checkboxes to the right of this field to indicated exactly how the event recurs (e.g. every 2 days, every weekday, every 2 weeks on Sunday, day 15 of every 2 months, etc.)
End: You can select the number of recurrences, or cycles, you want to run the event for, or you can select an actual end date after which the recurrence should stop.
Exception Dates: Use this field to indicated exceptions to the recurrence rules. For example, if you have an event that runs every Monday for 6 months, you might want to list any statutory holiday dates as exceptions since the event will not run on those dates.
Click Add to add a line for an exception date. If you would cancel your event for one of its recurring dates, enter the date (for example of the statutory holiday, etc) using the date picker. From the Action dropdown, select Remove. The recurring event will be removed from the calendar for that date.
If you would like to reschedule that event because of the date missed, you can click Add again to add another line. Select the date on which you would like to hold the rescheduled event (for example, the regular Monday meeting will occur on Tuesday that of week because of the statutory holiday). From the Action menu, click Add. The rescheduled meeting will be added to the syndicated calendar.
If you would like to delete any of your exceptions, click in the Delete column.
