Creating user portal pages

  2. Complete the fields in the Page Summary and the General Properties sections.

  3. Configure the Portal General Properties section.

  4. Add columns and configure titles in the Portal Main Page Properties section.

  5. Complete the Edit Profile Page Properties section.

  6. To customize the layout of the main and profile pages, edit the Portal Layout and Profile Layout editors. These are for advanced users who understand HTML and ACM tags.

  7. Click Save and submit the page for publication.

Changing the associated pages/pagelets

Use this procedure to replace existing pagelets on the User Portal page with different ones.

  1. Edit the User Portal page.

  2. In the Portal Main Page Properties section, go to the Available Pagelets field and click Edit link.

  3. In the popup window that appears, click the Add button and select the new pagelet to add to the list of available pagelets.

  4. Close the pagelet selection window and return to the User Portal page.

  5. In the Pagelets column right below the Columns field, click the Edit link of the pagelet you wish to change. Alternatively you may be adding a pagelet in which case you would click the Add button, add the new pagelet and then recalculate the percentages that each pagelet occupies so that they still total 100%.

  6. Select the new pagelet and click OK to save the selection and close the window. Make sure percentages for all the pagelets add up to 100%.

  7. Click Save and submit the page for publication.
