Document manager - digital asset folders
Click here for an OverviewOverview ***:
Arrange Alphabetically: Select this option to display the case folders in alphabetical order by case folder name. If you wish to display them in a different order, select the Custom Order option. This is the default arrangement for folders.
Custom Order: Select this option and you can manipulate the order of the folders manually by clicking on the up and down arrows to the left of each folder's name. These arrows, displayed in the ORDER column, are not visible in the Arrange Alphabetically option.
Add: Click this button to add a new line on which to specify a Digital Asset Manager case folder. Once the line is displayed you can edit it by clicking on the folder selection link. You can then navigate to the desired digital assets folder and select it.
<<Select Digital Asset Folder>>: When adding a new digital asset case folder, click on this link to select the folder from the Digital Asset Manager folders. The folder you are adding is the one that ACR cases are automatically added to when a new document case file is generated in the ACR. The folder is likely called "ACR Cases".
Is ACR Folder: If a folder you have selected contains ACR Cases, check this box for the folder in question. This will ensure that all user actions are logged as comments in the case file in the ACR system. If you do not check this box for the case folder, user actions will not be logged, meaning that important information will be missing from the case in terms of digital asset tracking. For example, when an asset is added to the case, a comment will be logged in the ACR something like "The xxxxxxx asset was added to the case by xxxxxxxx"
Enforce Asset Domain Settings: If you wish to enforce the same folder access permissions for users of the Document Manager page type you can check this option. The default is to have it checked. Thus if a user does not have access to the asset domain where the case folder resides, they will not be able to see cases from that folder. The default is to enforce domain settings.
When you check this option, an Edit Permissions link is displayed in the Custom Permissions column. You can click the link to customize the permissions. If you uncheck this option, the Edit Permissions link is not displayed.
Custom Permissions: If you checked the Enforce Asset Domain Settings box, you will be able to customize the permissions by clicking the Edit Permissions link. The Edit Permissions window allows you to check off which functions people are allowed to execute for cases in this folder (e.g. add assets, edit asset detail, delete or move folders and/or assets, etc.)
Allow Asset Merge: Checking this option allows users to merge all of the case assets into a PDF for printing.
Delete : Click the delete icon to remove a folder from the list.
