Document manager - ACR webservice
The ACR webservice section is only displayed if the ACR functionality has been turned on in the Ironpoint.config section of the Configuration Files Manager. (System menu > Configuration Files > Ironpoint.config tab > Application Settings section > A C R Present box checked) The ACR webservice is a program that allows your ACTIVE Content Manager and the ACTIVE Citizen Request systems to communicate with each other and pass information back and forth.
URL: The URL requires the following information be entered:
http://mysite.com/acr/Web/Features/webservices/API_ImportExport.asmx
Where “mysite” is the name of the server on which your ACR installation resides.
NOTE: The acr in the above example is a virtual folder where the ACR resides. If your ACR system resides in a virtual folder you must ensure you change the acr to the proper name of your own virtual folder containing the ACR system. If you do not keep your ACR in a virtual folder, the acr portion of the URL shown above would need to be removed.
Username: Enter the username of a valid ACR user who has permissions to perform all ACR case operations.
Password: Enter the password for the above user.
Timeout (seconds): The default timeout period is 100 seconds. After 100 seconds of unsuccessful attempts to connect to the ACR, the system will stop trying or "timeout".
ACR External System Name: You must enter the words Document Manager in this field if they are not already entered when you first create the page.
Test: You can test the webservice connection by clicking on the test button.
A failed test will display a message similar to this: "Connection test failed: The request failed with HTTP status 404: Not Found."
When the connection works you will see this message: "Connection test successful."
