PAGELETS
Add Pagelet: Before you can use this your site must already contain pagelet zones. If your site has zones, you can use this button to Add a pagelet to your page.
Inherit Parent Pagelets: If the parent page of the page you are editing has pagelets setup on it, you can click this button to make the current page use the same pagelet setups as its parent page. This means you avoid entering the pagelet information over and over again for each child page.
Zone: This column displays the zones available for adding pagelets to. The zones are created when your system administrator or site design manager added pagelet capacity to your site. See procedures at bottom of this topic. Each pagelet zone that you create corresponds to a different location on the page.
Pagelet: This is the name of the pagelet. It originates with the Title field on the pagelet in the Syndication Manager (where pagelet content is created).
Use Page Template: Check this option if you want this pagelet to use the same design template as the page you are attaching it to. If you do not select this checkbox, the pagelet data will be displayed using the pagelet design template. (pageletdesigntemplate.html)
(Save and Force Children): This option is only available to site administrators. Check this option if you want all child pages of this page to use the same Pagelet as you are using here.
Use Parent: Check this option if you want this page to use the same pagelet in this Zone that the parent page uses.
Del: Click
to completely remove a pagelet from the page.
MOBILE PAGELETS
If a site has “Support Mobile Devices” mode enabled, mobile pagelets can be inserted into all pages that support mobile view. If the pages you are editing do not support mobile view or you are not using the Mobile Device feature, this section is not displayed.
If displayed, you can use this section the same way you would use the Pagelets section above.
