Syndicated calendar - table calendar month view properties
The settings you make here will affect how your calendar looks when users are viewing the calendar one month at a time.
Auto-Size Calendar: Check this option to have the calendar automatically resized to fit the page on which it is being displayed.
Cell Width: This setting controls the width of the columns on the monthly calendar. The default width is 88 pixels. The sizing you select will depend on the resolution of your monitor. Test the sizing using the default pixels and then make adjustments as necessary.
Cell Height: This setting controls the height of the rows on the monthly calendar. The default width is 88 pixels. The sizing you select will depend on the resolution of your monitor. Test the sizing using the default pixels and then make adjustments as necessary.
Show Events on Calendar Days: Check this option to display scheduled events on the monthly calendar. The event title is displayed using the background colour you set when you created the event. The title of the event appears as a link that users can click on to view event detail.
When you set this option you can select how many of the day's events you wish to display. You can select Show All Events or Show Top XXX Events (the default is the top 3).
View All Events Link Text: If you chose to limit the display of events by setting the Show Top XXX Events field, you can select this option to display a link allowing users to view all of the events for a given day. The "top" events are the ones that start earliest in the day.
Highlight Days Containing Events: You can color-code your calendar so that users can tell at a glance which days have events, and which ones do not, etc. With this field, you can select a specific background color for days that have events scheduled. Click the Choose link to select a color from the palette or enter the hexadecimal code for the desired color. The default color is a grey-white (#EEEEEE).
Highlight Current Date: Click the Choose link to select a background color for today's date on the calendar or enter the hexadecimal code for the desired color. The default color is beige (#FFFF99).
Empty (no date) Cell Color: The "no date" cells are those at the beginning and end of the monthly calendar that are blank representing days from the previous or next month. The default color for these is a dark grey (#666666).
Display Event Times: Check this option to display the time of the events before the name of the events in the cells of the table.
