Syndicated calendar - list calendar month view properties
The settings you make here will affect how your calendar looks when users are viewing the calendar one month at a time.
Show All Days/Show Only Days with Events: Select which of these options you would like to use on your published weekly calendar.
Group by Date: Check this option to group all events for a given day under a single date heading for that day. If you do not check this, each one of all of the events scheduled for given day will have a Date header listed above them (this makes the calendar appear very cluttered but if each of the events had a particularly long description, etc. you might want to uncheck this option so that the date would be repeated before each event was listed).
Highlight Current Date: Click the Choose link to select a background color for today's date on the calendar or enter the hexadecimal code for the desired color. The default color is beige (#FFFF99).
Display Event Description: Check this option to display a portion of the event description. The Show first XXXX words field controls how many of words should be displayed. This is the description that you entered when you created the event.
Display Event Thumbnail Image: If you included an image when you created the event, you can use this setting to display a thumbnail version of the image.
Hide Events Before Selected Date: Check this box to hide all events occurring prior to the date selected on the published calendar page. By default, when a user first accesses the published calendar page, the date is set to Today's date. So in effect, events prior to today's date will not be displayed unless the user changes the Jump To date from today's date to another date. By default this option is not turned on, meaning all calendar events are displayed.
