Syndicated calendar - asset service event source

Click here for an OverviewOverviewThis section is used by people whose ACTIVE Content Manager is integrated with ACTIVE's Asset Services system. Once integrated, you can pull events from Asset Services for display on your ACM calendar pages.

In order for this section to appear on the syndicated calendar page, a special database query must be run against your database. This is done by ACTIVE Content Manager personnel. Please contact your ACTIVE Support team for assistance.:

• URL: Enter the URL for the location containing the Asset Service event information.

• Maximum number of events fetched by service: Entering a number in this field prevents slow performance in the case that set criteria produces a high number of events.

• Link Events to Asset Details Page: If you wish to provide a link from the event to the actual Asset Service event, check this checkbox.

• Filters: If there are only certain types of events or events with certain criteria that you wish to retrieve from Asset Service, you can specify the filtering information here.
  
  Click Add and select a filtering criterion from the drop-down box. These are hard-coded options originating with the Asset Service system. If you do not know which values you should use in the value boxes, you must see what is being used in the Asset Service system to code events.
  
  Note: You must select at least one Category and one Channel.
