Login page
- login properties
The Login Properties section defines the flow of the login and user account creation procedure.
Post Login Page: Specify which page you want displayed right after the user logs in. Select the checkbox and click <<Select Page>> to select the page to be displayed.
Join Form Page: A Join Form page is used for people who do not yet have a user account and thus are not able to log in. The Join Form page is an application form that you provide so that they can apply for a user account and gain access to this portion of the site. Select this checkbox, click <<Select Page>> and select the application form. This will place a link on your login page for users to click to apply for a user account.
Enable "Remember Username": If you select this checkbox, each time a user logs in, the username field will automatically display the last username that logged in.
Enable "Forget Password": This feature is for users who forget their passwords. Select this checkbox if you want users to be able to click a link to have their password sent to them. The link says "Forgot Password?".
Public Login:
Select this checkbox to make the login page suitable for public users. Make sure you have set up all of the other features that support public users. You should create a public user group to place the users in.
Login pages that use ACM login: The Username field will be renamed to be an Email field, and the field presented for users to log in will be Email instead of a Username. Also, you should create the Application Form as a public user application form and assign all new users to your public user group.
Clear this checkbox to make the login page suitable for non-public users.
Hosted clients: The login page redirects non-public users to an ACTIVE Passport page for signing in. These users don't actually see the view mode of the ACM login page. Also, the only controls on the Content tab of the login page type (edit mode) that apply to these users are the Public Login checkbox and the Post Login Page checkbox.
