The Club Listing - Listing Properties section provides settings for the general layout of the club listing page as well as a field for defining which group or person will be the club listing administrator.
Club Listing Administrators: Click on this link to select the individuals or group of users that will be responsible for administering the club listing page. Club administrators are responsible for approving new clubs as well as for editing and configuring the Club Listing pages. They are also the ones who create the accompanying Calendar and Forum pages. This person also has all of the same privileges as a club moderators (each club's main contact).
Login page: Click the << Select Page >> link to select the login page users will employ when logging into and managing their club, its members, events and forums.
List Entries per Page: This setting controls how many clubs are listed on the main Club Listing page. The default is 10 club listings per page. If there are more than 10 clubs, page number links are provided.
Allow Club Image: If you want clubs to be able to load an image beside their listing, check this option. Uncheck it to dissallow images. You can also set the Maximum Size of the image file that users can upload with their listings. The default maximum file size is 2MB. Note that images are not resized so people adding images will have to edit their image to create a thumbnail size image in order to retain formatting of the main Club Listing page.
Club Description Preview: If you want to display a short preview of the description of each club on the listing page, check this option. You can set the published listing page to display the First X words of the club's description. The default is to display the first 50 words.
Show Main Contact: Check this option to display the name of the primary contact for the club. You can display the contact's name as an email link so that users can simply click on the contact name to send them a message.
Show Club Phone #: Check this box to display the main contact phone number for the club.
Maximum Document Upload Size: You can set a maximum permissible document size for upload. The size you limit it to will depend on the capacity of your system to handle and store such documents. The default maximum file size is 1MB.
'From'
email address for emailing other users: This field defines
the from address that is used when a user sends an email through the
Email Select Members button
on the club listing. Leave this field blank to use the logged-in user's
email address. Enter a value in this field to use a different email
address.
The value of this field is also used as the from address in cases where
the user emails an event to a friend through the syndicated calendar,
regardless of any other possible from addresses available with that
feature.
In all cases where the field has a value, the system includes a reply-to
address with the value of the from address that the end user sees
when they set up the email.
Note: To have emails sent where the from address is for example noreply@activenetwork.com, enter the value in this field.
