Click here for an OverviewOverview The Email tab contains the default set of automatic notification emails that get installed with your ACTIVE CM. Each email is configured with default text that you can edit. You can also choose to inactivate certain emails here so they do not get sent. Emails are sent automatically for things such as account activation/inactivation, when pages are edited, updated, and published, and so on. To edit the contents of the emails, see Editing workflow emails.

These emails are the same as the emails provided in the Global System Variables settings. However, if you are using Site Groups, the site group emails are used instead of the global system emails. This allows you to customize system emails by site group instead of having only a single set of emails for all site groups within the ACM.
